The AOGA is a nonprofit trade organization consisting of select remote gambling operators who are licensed and regulated by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

All members of the AOGA are committed to maintaining a remote gambling industry in Antigua that exhibits the world’s highest levels of fairness, integrity, and social responsibility.

History of the AOGA
By the late 1990s, Antigua had become home to several of the world’s largest and most sophisticated online betting operators. These companies had chosen to be based and licensed in Antigua because of it was one of the few nations in the world that had both a comprehensive regulatory system for online gambling and a respected banking and commercial support industry. As the Antiguan remote gaming industry began to rapidly grow and expand, it faced a number of regulatory and business challenges at both the domestic and global levels. The AOGA was created to serve as an organization that would collectively represent the needs of its members in facing these challenges.

Overview of the AOGA
The AOGA represents the Antiguan remote gaming industry by (1) addressing domestic and global regulatory issues affecting its members and their customers; (2) providing credible and truthful facts about remote gaming to the general public, governments, and gaming industry executives; (3) encouraging the highest standards of integrity and social responsibility in the remote gaming industry; and (4) supporting initiatives that will benefit the global trade in remote gambling services.
